At Covenant our mantra is "It's all about the patient".

We want your experience at Covenant to be exceptional and we want to be responsive to your needs.

To do this the nursing staff rounds on each patient hourly, nursing leadership rounds on each patient daily, and administration rounds on each patient during their hospitalization. During our "rounds" we make sure all your needs are met, your pain is under control, and important items are in reach.

We feel it is important to keep you informed. Each patient room has a best care board. On this board is the names of your care team members - your nurse, nurse aide, charge nurse and physician.  This board tells any plans for the day, such as procedures. We also ask you to tell us what "best care" or exceptional care means to you. We place this on the board so that everyone who enters your room knows what is important to you as an individual.

Nurses also conduct bedside reporting. This means that when care changes from one nurse to another the information is exchanged at the bedside. This allows you, as the patient, to be involved in the process.

We also call patients after discharge to make sure all discharge instructions were clear and your recovery is going well.
